SOLD Borg & Borg float

Post by Hilly on Wed Jun 17, 2009 10:13 am

BORG & BORG, Sandhurst Model. White.
I had made in 1987, to suit my 16.3hh chunky TB boy.
I will measures bays on weekend, it also has a very high roof, so suitable for WB's.

It is 2 horse straight load. Head divider.
Padding is all good on dividers, sides, though chest bar on right hand side could need re-upholstering. Chest bar on left hand side can be lowered for smaller horses/foals.

About a month ago I had all new wheel bearings done, and a new brake system.

Front window is large, and has bars.

Tail gate, with a 3/4 door over the top, not going to roof.
There is also a canvas attachment to fill in the gap.

Float has been shedded for most of its life, & still looks reasonably good, other than where horses have chewed it etc. So in the future would look better with a sand and respray.

Looking at prices on Myaushorse, am thinking around $6k.

I will try and get some photos tonight or upon request.

Please PM me for further info.

Yes Poppy, someone on the weekend was trying to convince me to just get a tack box built into it, because they are such a good make.

Here are some inside pics taken saturday..

What u need a tack box for? It's for transporting horses, not for stashing saddlery in.
