Can I ask a really really dumb question? hopefully it's just some miinformation on my part.

Are American Staffies actually staffies or are they really Pit bulls that owners/breeders name american Staffies so they don't get in trouble with councils etc??

I likes them, they are all rolly polly and wrinkly.. there are a few of them, isn't there!!! dear little sausages!

I know the english staffies are pussy cats and Bull terriers are the same...

I always remember my boss telling me the bit about the american staffies and pit bulls...

They make you want to pick them all up and squish them!

haha yeah when I worked at the AWL we did see it a lot... Any pit bull crosses we found had to be put down immediately!

.....which sucks coz pit bulls brought up properly are fantastic dogs, its just the idiot owners.

We used to have a Japanese Akita- supposedly 'fighting' dogs. Ours only ever snapped at us kids ONCE and that was when her leg was in a cast and she was as grumpy and miserable as all hell! Wouldnt hurt a fly.

Nah Pitbull's are actually their own breed.
Can look similar to the Am staff or Am Bulldog..
People some times cross the two & sell them as pitty's.
Not many pure pitbulls around these days.
I had one years ago, he was lovely natured, but something about them I don't trust, prob just the bad rep they have.

Bucc the tan & white would have to be the pick, She has been sold also. 9 pups left.

Oh but the blk/white pied with white head in 2nd pic is the best i reckon.
Hell stocky and wide head.
