Oscar - 12 hh Chestnut Pony Gelding - Price Reduced! - HEIGHT AMMENDED!!!
Oscar is approximately 10 - 12 yrs old going by his teeth, and is around the 12hh mark. He was measured on the 18th September, and was dead on the 12 hands, however he could be a smidge under or over if the stick was out a fraction.....
He was purchased for a 4 yr old as a second pony, however the little girl is not quite up to the stage to go on to Oscar yet.
He has a soft mouth and is responsive.
He would suit leading rein or a child with a little experience. - a good 2nd pony. He is priced at $2500 ono
He is pictured here with a very petite 13 yr old advanced beginner on him.
She said he has a lovely smooth trot and canter.

Re: Oscar - 12 hh Chestnut Pony Gelding - Price Reduced! - HEIGHT AMMENDED!!!
This pony is a little wizard!!! The young lass pictured above on him has been riding him everywhere..........
She has been cantering along a bush track with her arms out to the sides and he just goes along beautifully.
She gets off him, leaves him there and walks away and he just stands there waiting........... if she takes too long, he wanders over to her........
She has 'fallen off' him at a walk, trot and canter and he stops dead and waits for her........... (an experiment to see what he would do).......
He is the most beautiful little pony who is so willing and happy to do whatever is asked of him and she has popped him over some little jumps and he loved it.
Great on his own or in group situations..........
Ash has been riding him bareback with just the halter as well and he is good as gold..........
Great to wash (though tries to roll! lol)........
More photos of him are here:
This is the first day he got 'serious' work..... http://www.cmsporthorses.com/Ponies71008.html
A couple of days later: http://www.cmsporthorses.com/PoniesOct08.html

Hey Kath,
Yep hes still available - have had people enquiring, but no one has said they will have him and put a deposit on him yet .....
Ashlee took him to Cricket on the weekend, and the day before she had taken him to the pool and he was loved on by all the kids there and ate the grass at the pool (our local pool is obviously quite relaxed about letting horses into the pool area! lol)

Have also had heaps of people ask if they can lease him - and the simple answer is no........... he is for sale, not for lease - Ashlee is having too much fun riding him here there and everywhere to let him go out on lease. He will either stay and be ridden by her, or sold.
Re: Oscar - 12 hh Chestnut Pony Gelding - Price Reduced! - HEIGHT AMMENDED!!!
excellent - might have to drive down and visit the boy once I sell the house ( not the one we are living in lol ) Jacks grown out of his pony and I am looking for something that I wont have kittens while he is riding. If he is still avaliable when the house sells then we might get to catch up again

Okies, Oscie really needs to find a new home.... the longer he stays the less I want to move him on.......... lol..........
Took him to Pony Club the other day - had three different kids ride him, and another one brush him who didnt want to ride, and had kids yahooing around him all day, and other horses going everywhere and was good as gold.
He was poked and prodded when I was doing some points of the horse and asking the kids to point to where the part was - not POKE him, but oh well, that happens! lol............
He stood there and took it all...........
Here are a couple of pics of some of the kids on him (and yep, I got parental permission to post pics of their kids on any ads I put up for him)...............
Great little pony.....

Re: Oscar - 12 hh Chestnut Pony Gelding - Price Reduced! - HEIGHT AMMENDED!!!
Come on people! This pony is very special!
Shell and I ahve decided to get him out and about a bit!
I will be doing some Hacks and led classes with him in this months Wudinna Show!! Then the barrels! Now Oscar is a awesome little games pony, extremely quick and can turn quite sharply, he is easy to keep fit, and it usually the boss of the paddock!
Then we will take him to WTY(Wudinna Team Yarders!) And get him in and mingling with the cows! He was up there last month and had a boy on him for the day, he was perfect, but a bit grumpy at the start, as when I rode him I found out he doesn't like been kicked in the guts. He prefers the nudge and click of the tounge, which is fine!
Oscar is very easy to catch, float, wash, saddle! You can basically do anything. Oscar is an ANGEL to ride bareback, lovely soft, easy mouth and smooth canter (trust me it's addictive!). He can jump 80cms with ease, and its almost the height of his legs! LOL! Can be a bit pushy on ground, but you have to be firm with him, he is just testing! Excellent lead pony, been to pony club and had kids all over him, fun to muck around on! Loves Bush rides! Can run for KMs! Once rode him on a 5km track, he trotted and galloped the whole way!
Willing to please! Easy keeper, he was sitting in the paddock for 3 months, pulled him out and chucked the saddle on, nothing! He was perfect!
So make an offer!
I would get him, but I need a big horse, wish he suddenly had a growth spurt!
