People are cutting now, so there will be heaps advertised soon in papers. Probably need to inspect before buying as peoples version of Meadow hay varies quite a lot.

Isn't it illegal to sell hay with Jane in it? If it isn't, it should be, and it is definitely irresponsible/amoral.

I tend to judge hay by how it smells. Also needs to be well packed - not loose and falling apart.

Find someone that knows a bit about hay and get them to show you. If I say it should have clover, the more the better, you will proably ask what is clover. too hard to explain, easier to get someone to show you.

MTGG are they the small compact bales that you get. .... If so that hay is grown by Schusters at Freeling. Bl**dy brilliant hay. I buy all mine from there, for one its cheaper to go through them and they have a good variety of hays. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll PM the number.

Cheers
