I reckon I am just gonna buy my own clippers. I only do body, I leave hair on her legs for protection cross country, and don't bother doing her face or saddlepatch. Now to find some clippers!

I recommend the Heineger brand, so much quieter than most others, there was a set like mine on Ebay last week for $200

these are very similar, on Ebay now
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HEINIGER-HORSE-CLIPPERS_W0QQitemZ180348410896QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Pet_Supplies?hash=item180348410896&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318.

I have heard that the new ones are not as good as the entire casing is plastic.

OMG I just read DD's post & thought hmm what brand are mine? I paid over $400. Got them from Bonnetts on one of their rare 20% off sales. Then i thought, where the hell are my clippers? I think i may have left them back at the farm at my ex's. Hope he hasn't sold them or anything. God i'm such an idiot. Rolling Eyes I haven't needed to use them since ponies are now stabled under lights.

Bugger!
But the brand would either be Oster's or Thrive's as that is the main one's Bonnetts stock. Prob Oster's.
Hope you find them!!

Thanks. Yeah probably Oster's because i've never heard of Thrive's.

DD i recommend buying your own. I'm sure you would get your money's worth out of them. Smile
