10 acres on racecourse road

Post by saltbush-lodge on Sun Feb 01, 2009 12:40 am

we are selling off the back ten acres of out property because we have had quotes and etc and we are going to put up an enclosed arena at our place.

The back of the property is listed with Brock hardcourts - ask for mark. We are selling either as a ten acre, or two five acres.

We are on semi rural zoning so could buy five acres and then (subjuct to coucil approval Rolling Eyes ) sell 2.5 acres.

Once we sell them the indoor arena will be going up, as well as a ten horse barn bounce - with ducted air conditioning Cool

we have figured that wil having the farming contacts that we have made re putting a horse out to paddock we really dont need the back ten, so an indoor arena would be much better for the area and for us.

Spread the word, the sooner its sells, the sooner we get the arena.

done know yet the initial quotes to get it up are abpout $50,000 another $20,000 to get ot totally enclosed affraid

It wont be much I dont think. For individuals prob about $10 an hour if shared and with lights a bit more. But when we start up the dressage club there will be free time for all members cheers

Well I have to sell ten acres and my first ever house to get it Sad

As much as I love owning my own property and having the horses out the back, I miss the riding around with everyone at the stables. SO this is my way of getting people to ride out my place Very Happy

Even if we just get the roof up and do a fence around it to start with, will be better than getting home in time to see the sun go down.

And yes Bandicoot I am getting my way alot lately. The way he sees it, gets his meals cooked, clothes ironed, riding lessons, bed made, lunch made..... has to do it all himself if I dont get an indoor arena Twisted Evil

lol - but still have to sell some property first.
