Re: Andrew McLean/Warwick Clinic??
yes, I heard that nicki charges now...
I wonder if the McLeans know about this as I know that when I was a working pupil they were dead against charging for onlookers.

Re: Andrew McLean/Warwick Clinic??
they start at 8.30 and run right through till after 5 each day - my friend had the timetable of who was riding when. you have to pay to be a spectator, each rider gets one free spectator (that's me!)

The Truth About McLean Clinics
Hello there,
Some 'mis-information' circulating on this topic, unfortunately. Here are the facts...
Lessons with all the McLeans cost less than they did last year.
Warwick is now coming over as well in November.
All spectator fees are passed on to the McLeans in full. This is as introduced by the AEBC in 2009.
Riders are not charged to spectate, and can bring another person for free.
Spectator fees are $30/full day and $15/half day.
Hope this helps!

Re: Andrew McLean/Warwick Clinic??
Hi,
Nicki from Kersbrook here with a foray into cyber-chat! Heard there had been some discussion about McLean clinics here, and just to clarify further the spectator fees were part of the package the AEBC requested when I started running their clinics again. Because I got some adverse feedback at the beginning of the year I asked if they could be reduced and if riders could bring a friend for free, which is now the case.
Anyone who's been to see the McLean's work would know they deliver great value for money and $30.00 is very reasonable for the day. I attended a clinic recently where it cost $100/day to observe! I am also able to keep lesson costs down because I don't have to hire facilities, but I am running a business so there has to be some margin for my efforts.
I was disapponted to find an old thread (is that what you call it?) here where people were 'running me down' in a public forum. I thought this was meant to be friendly? Maybe next time people could get their info from the 'horse's mouth... My number is 83893028.
Happy riding!

Re: Andrew McLean/Warwick Clinic??
Well done KEC (Nicki) for clearing up any misunderstanding.
I would happily pay $30 to be a spectator, unfortunately its just too far for us, and the timing is also off for us.
Hopefully you can keep this forum updated as to when other clinics are happening.
