Yes, been on the blower to the President, though haven't spoken to him for a few weeks and he hasn't rung me back. He's on my list for people to chase up. Full rings, harness the lot.. plenty of room.. should be awesome! Every man, woman and child and horse is going to be there, rings a filling up at a rate of knots now!

I was quite annoyed about this and think it showed a complete lack of thought on the part of the society.

If you are not going to rely on ' on the day entries' don't offer them. To cancel it on the friday night before the show is rediculous. We were lucky we had prior warning via the website before we drove the 6 hours to the show.

I am possibily pissed off as I only found out after I had spent an hour and a half washing fergie.

I understand that the judge was unwell but I think it is a pretty poor excuse.

There were not all that many people at Eudunda in any of the classes... Maybe the weather put some people off but most of the hack classes were pretty empty both the EFA and encourage classes...
Showjumping only had a few as well!

Word is the Standies were a pretty sad turnout too.

It was probably the heat that turned a lot of people off going. We have shown on far hotter days than Sunday.

We showed at Angaston a few years ago, it was that hot the horses complained, coming home was an un-comfortable trip, we lived down south then.

I remember the day well not because of the heat but because we won everything we went in with the two horses, including Supreme.

Oh and I got 1st in the long reining, beat OH he only got 3rd which was the only non blue or tri-colour for the day.
