I remember the Arab champs from years back. Always thought they put on a good event... best of luck to all and I look forward to seeing all the pics!

Just a reminder that the Early Bird entries close on the 3rd October.
You could win $50 if you get your entries in before then.

XCalibre .. If your rego papers are not back in time you can still enter. So long as you have sent them off to AHSA and they have recieved them, then its easy to just contact the AHSA and they will advise if the horse can be shown or not. So long as all your paperwork is correctly filled out, the fact that you have not received your registration Certif, the AHSA will still approve your entries as being eligible.
So if the AHSA verify they have your paperwork there, you can still show..
The problems come about when people enter, but have not yet sent off the registration/ transfer papers...

Ah ok cool!
I'm just waiting on the papers from the warmblood society, i finally got them the other day after about 4months hehe then i had to send them back again for transfer of ownership, meanwhile $10000000 later (hehehe), just waiting on them to return then i'll send in the arab paperwork.......hopefully it won't all take too much longer, got everything filled out ready to roll just waiting

Re: SA ARABS Inc. Arabian championship Show
ooh!! Arab person Q?
Do arabs/derivatives need to be branded to be rego'd with AHSA?
Just asking as my boy has (finally!) been rego'd - which on website states colour (wrong) and brands (none) ??
However, I'm still waiting for the transfer paperwork....sigh...
**sorry to hi-jack!!**

Yes, according to the rules they must be branded. However some are branded so lightly that it is hard to see unless clipped or shaved.
If you have submitted the paper work to AHSA and just waiting on it to come back, you can ring them and they will verify if it is correct. In some cases they will give you a 'screen dump' if the certificate is not yet printed.
However, if you are still waiting on paperwork from a previous owner, then you may need to give them a bit of a hurry up ...

Re: SA ARABS Inc. Arabian championship Show
XC Dont pay the Rush fee. Just send them off Express Post. You may find they will be back in time anyway. Entries dont close until 17th..
And the turnaround can be around 2 weeks if all is correct.
Once they have been received as long as there is no problems, and they are being processed, you can still show. It just means that I send off an email with a list of horses that need Rego checks done, and the AHSA then verifies that they have them and give the go ahead.
