Trust me, if your horse is good enough, it will win, even if the ears are not clipped out.. So don't stress..

Our gelding won HOY last year. No clipped ears, no face clip, no body clip. In fact I think at one show he still had muzzle hairs intact. If they are good enough, and clean, shiny, heathly and fit, and have GOOD CONFOTMATION & SOUNDNESS & MOVE , then they will win..

Many times Arab people seem to get too caught up in the the OTT presentation, and forget that you need to actually have a well conformed horse underneath it.....

Yes, quite a few of us have won HOTY without any clipping whatsoever. I agree, good horse with all the conformation ticks and can MOVE, can win!!! Makes it even sweeter under an International judge when you win the Supreme cheers !

Just a reminder that the entries for this close on the 17th Oct.

And just a tip, the entry Sec, has had around a 50% rate of incorrect entries, with errrors like.. not added up correctly, cheque written for wrong amounts, stable bond not included, no copy of Rego supplied.....

She's VERY over it.. At this point she hasnt invoke the $10 penalty on anyone, but dont push her... Evil or Very Mad

Hey XC, i totally agree with Yasbiq

My boy won Derivative Most Attractive Head last year at the State Show and i didn't clip his ears out.
He doesn't like it so why should i make him feel uncomfortable and go head shy.
