SHC-SA Encourage Horse of the Year - 29th Nov 2009 for those who dont normally show in the EFA/SHC/Ag shows and have not placed 1st at any of these shows

i think the whole idea is fantastic. There are heaps me encourage riders out there.

well i reckon ill be going unless something happens but ill put my entries in later.. i have found 3 hack shows on that day got this one, the riding pony one and the MVRC one so people are prob still deciding which one to go to

HC & my Marni will be there and i'll be wondering around with camera in hand lol am posting their entries in tomorrow

His lip has healed just waiting now for Jon to get shoes on (my lot are always last), just hope I can get in enough saddle time.. Getting sick of just doing led classes (at least I'm no preggers. lol) Irrespective, we'll be there!

Hope like hell I'll get in some serious saddle work tho between now and then and pray for a miracle.. He's been on 5 kilos of hard feed a day, left feral after Archie decided his rug was edible so he is now sporting a nice sunbleached coat and he hasn't been ridden in 2 months.. should be fun.. lmao

It says $10 per class could someone please explain. so say i go to class 33 senior rider its $10 for that and then an extra $10 for anymore i want to do?

Well the classes are starting to fill up which is great the more the merrier and if show well supported will be a definite on the calendar for 2010 !!!!

Entries have been extended until 20th November so you have till next fri to get entries to me

Spoke to Sarcha the other day, have had to take one of my 3yos to the trials, and I can't put it off any longer as he needs to be ready for the derby.
Can you pay on the day? Cos if anything should happen and I can take the float, I might skoot down anyhow.

Its a hard time of year, as I have to work around the young race horses so showing this time of the year is always a bit difficult as its now they start getting ready to hit the track.

But rest assured, - if I can be, i'll be there with bells on.. Pretty keen to get the rather unfit (and this blasted hot weather aint helping) Danny down there..

Need entries before hand so that can be in program and have number but as you have seen have extended entries until 20/11 anyway

think it is a fantastic idea!!! Would love to come, just have to see how the pony goes as she is just coming in to work after a break due to a sore back It would be fantastic if they could make it an annual thing

does anyone know how we know if our entries have been received? Other shows have posted receipts etc. Would have to miss out if they got lost in the mail.

We are looking at making this an annual thing provided it is well supported otherwise we will not as it costs us a lot of money to make these events run...
