Mega Sale Empty
PostSubject: Mega Sale   Mega Sale EmptyMon Oct 01, 2012 8:25 pm

We have moved and are selling up - so much stuff at the farm that we don't need! We are having a farm/garage sale on October 20. Start time 9am. Everything is at very low prices, even some things for free. We just don't want to move all this stuff, and clearly if these items were "essential" we would have got them out of storage before now Smile All good quality items, some either new or with very little use. The following list is a very small example, I will add to it as I continue to dig through the storage shed!
Household items:
New shower base, old metal filing cabinet, at least 3 lawnmowers (all working), whipper snippers (also working but haven't been started in ages), two bbqs, outdoor furniture, wooden wine rack (quite tall, holds over 50 bottles....darn husband!), large book shelf, bar stools, and trestle tables
Farm items:
International 444 tractor in excellent condition, 8 inch post hole borer (purchased new and only used a few times), wire spinner, over 100 permapine fence posts (brand new and some creosoted), yard panels for horse floats (bent but can be resurrected if you're keen).
Horse items:
Some rugs, halters and grooming gear. Mostly free because it's older and well used. Also some large 70L, food grade water containers that are great for shows. We used to take them in our float and never had the hike for water that other people had to deal with Smile Also a few 44 gallon drums which we used for jumps, and some pitchforks as well.

Please go to our website for directions to the farm. It's all got to go Smile

If the tables are easy to access/not in storage - would love to grab them asap! Very Happy

Yep, the post hole borer runs off a 3 point linkage so can't be used alone. It is $1600.
Tables are easy access, will double check how many we have and let you know! How many are you after?

There are also two washing machines. One is a top loader and it needs a new pump. The other is a front loader, 3 years old, and needs a new filter (someone washed a horse rug in there, which it didn't like!)
Some office furniture as well. The bookcase and the yard panels are sold pending pickup Smile
A lot of the horse gear also gone but lots of rugs in varying states of disrepair still available.

FOTR I'm not sure about the washing machines - I THINK the front loader is an 8kg Samsung. The top loader is a Fisher and Paykel 5.5kg
If he doesn't want the borer, does he want the posts? We have HEAPS Smile

Oh, also two televisions. Both older and not digital ready (would need set top box to receive TV), we used them for games and DVDs. One Panasonic, not sure what the other one is until I see it again. I highly doubt I could find remotes for them though!

Oops, and the wine rack holds 48 bottles not 50. There is one less row than I thought, oops!

I'm interested in the rugs and always in the brushes for the kids. Looking for 4' to 5'3 not canvas.
How long are the poles?

The poles are gone Sad

I'll see what rugs and brushes I have left. Most of the brushes were given to my neighbour, but I KNOW there are more of them. Just got to find them!
I'm pretty sure I have some of the rugs you're looking for. None of them are usable but could be patched up!

$10 for the AC. It's new in its box. The box is water damaged but I think the unit is ok. We had two of these, both boxes were water damaged and we used the other one just fine.
Prefer not to hold items or arrange presale as the farm is an hour away from where we now live, and with four month old twins, getting out of the house is a mission. Strongly prefer buyers to come to the sale on the 20th.
Cheers!
