At Stud

~ Halado Werdun ~

16.2h Bay Hannoverian x Thoroughbred stallion
(Wunder/Never Bend lines)

Quite possible the most versatile Warmblood stallion in the state, Halado Werdun has proven himself in many different scenarios. He shows great style over jumps and has won at Ag Show level under Olympic rider Jeff Bloomfield.

He has hunted to hounds and proven himself as an absolutely exceptional field mount with impeccable manners in company. He moves with elegance and expression and is schooling Adv/PSG.

He is training in liberty work/trick training and throughout all his endeavours, shows the trainability, character and sensibility that he passes on to all his progeny.

Above all, he is a friend and partner...whether we are competing, galloping cross country or just wandering down the road.

You can have a horse like this too.

$1,000 LFG. Fresh/chilled.
Located in Springton, SA. Inspection welcome.

Better give my beautiful boy a bit of a promotion...since I haven't added to this thread for three years!  Woops! Embarassed

Some piccies from our photo session yesterday:

(Excuse rider position!)

He started half steps last week (the lead up to piaffe) and he is picking it up really well.  Not far off the real thing!

...and again...bit wonky (my fault) but better collection.

Considering I can't actually school any of the higher movements at home (no arena, no level area and surface quality dependent on rainfall!), I am SOOOO happy with how we can bring it all together in an arena! Smile  Just goes to show that if you really work on getting the basics right, it will all be there when you ask for it.
