Anyone know of a horse suitable for a novice adult lady, 15 -15.3hh, prefer no TB's, has been riding approx 6 months but leased a horse in poor condition and unfortunatley for her now that she has got him looking good and he is healthy he is course feeling better too - hence he is now a bit too much for her. She just wants something to ride out with friends on & relax and enjoy! good home assured & she is not being unreasonable with her budget, will pay the price for the right horse.

Got this from a friend today, TB but a sane one.

Schoolmaster Gelding, Chestnut, TB, Approx 16.1hh, 15yo. Previously competed on by an 11yo girl. Currently used for trail riding and showjumping. Competed at some Mallala Winter Series shows this year. Knows his dressage. Would suit teenager or adult looking for good all round mount for PC. Can ride after time off with no dramas. Good to shoe and float – will stand tied at float all day, same temperament out as when at home.
$1200 – priced for quick sale to an excellent home where he will be well looked after

At home absoloute sweetheart to ride and has the same temp when out at a event - will stand at float all day long

No buck rear or bolt at all - wouldn't know how to. Only brought him a few months ago to do mallala winter series with as was taking my other horse and my mare was out having a spell and wanted another to jump. 9 month spell before coming to me - previously ridden by 11yo girl - poured with rain the first week he was home, rode him once then took him to mallala! Perfect - didn't put a foot wrong! not bad for a horse I only rode once before we went out!

Good on roads/with tractors etc. Doesn't shy - not even when other horses next to him do. Can be a bit strong when trotting out in company but think this could be teeth related as the 11yo had no probs prior to him having a spell. he is booked in to get his teeth done next friday if he is still here then.

Horse sold - to the first people to see him - in the absoloute pouring rain!

i heard of one today, 14.3, 16 yo bay sb mare... very quiet and placid $800. I can pass on details i interested
