Wanted: For dressage

Post by *kayty* on Sat Jan 10, 2009 11:02 am

Looking for something to lease, possibly buy, which would be suitable for dressage up to at least medium level for fairly experienced 18 year old.
No tb's unless quiet (I'm a bit over tb's now!!), prefer WB. Up to 16.1/16.2hh, is quiet at competitions and doesn't have any 'dirt'. Not fussed if it's a bit older, I'm happy to take anything that will give me more experience riding something more talented while I get the money together to purchase something decent rather than my usual 'turn-overs'.
Happy to take on something for lease even just for a few months if owner is too busy to work it.
Prefer it if horse could be kept on my own property in Chandlers Hill, or close by.
If you know of anything, give me a shout I'm getting very desperate!! Email equineartist1@hotmail.com

Kayty - how did you go? I *might* have a WB X TB for lease for a short period of time, but does not "tick all the boxes" you have up there. He's a bit younger with no show experience, but quiet to ride.

Hi Kayty,
My neighbour has an older warmblood gelding she is wanting to move on due to having too many horses on her small property. Not sure of his exact height but he is over 16hh. He is a 'been there, done that' type of horse and in his younger years competed in the werribee three day event and if i remember correctly may have been involved in paralympics somewhere along the track. She is happy to sell or free lease. If you pm me i can give you her details. Just so you know, the horse is located 3 hrs from adelaide, so as not to waste your time contacting her if you dont want to travel that far.
Cheers
Cassie
