THE CLUB

In existence since 1971 SA Arabs Inc. has held many shows, seminars, trail rides and stallion presentations. The first All Arabian Show was held in 1973.
S.A. Arabs Inc. has a very active group of Arabian breeders and owners with a diverse range of interests. The Club aims to cater to the interests of all its members, with a dedicated and enthusiastic committee working hard to ensure the Club continues to meet its member’s needs. Shows run by the Club are the 'A' class shows - the S.A Arabian Championship show, The Main Event - and the 'B' Class Festival All Breeds.
Seminars on halter and saddle training, and presentation are run. We hold great youth development days. The Club also understands the importance of youth in the future of the Arabian horse, The Geoff Applebee Memorial Trophy for the South Australian Youth Ambassador of the Year is presented to the young person that best represents the ideals of this award, any young person involved with Arabians in any way is more than welcome to enter.

SAARABS HOY and Social evening - Sept 14th.



Members’ wishes are our Committee’s commands, so, as requested by the majority of survey respondents, a social evening has been organised:

Come along to The Nook at Klemzig on Friday 14 September at 7.30 pm and

• decide which Committee Members have Photoshopped the head shots they submitted for the Club’s web page

• view excerpts from ‘All The Queen’s Horses’

• tantalise your tastebuds with a smorgasbord of eastern delights, washed down with a glass of wine or soft drink

• applaud the winners of HOTY awards

‘All The Queen’s Horses’ was a pageant held in the grounds of Windsor Castle as part of The Diamond Jubilee celebrations and includes;
100 Arabians of The Royal Cavalry of Oman
NSW Mounted Police
A liberty display from Jean Francois Pignon that ends in a delightful and unexpected way
