We are after you for the Breeders' Crown, to participate on the Friday 9th of April!

Have sent emails to those I have contacts for here's the plan...

I am writing to you on behalf of the Standardbred Sport Horse Association. We are organising the biggest Equestrian event named "The Breeders' Crown" ever held in South Australia for April 9-11th at Wayville Show

Incorporating the SSHA National Championships (Sponsored by Harness Racing SA) and the Show Horse Council's National Qualifier event ~ The Rising Star Show, the Breeders' Crown is attracting horses from all over the country. We anticipate approx 500 horses per day to be competing at the event, which in turn will bring over 2000 people per day minimum through the gates.

Equestrian events include - Hacking, Show Jumping, Dressage, Pony Dressage, Novelties, Obstacles, Harness (including Standardbred only and open Harness Classes). Some of the Breed Societies represented include - Arabians (A Grade Show), Standardbreds, Pintos, Australian Pony Stud Book, Miniature Horse, Riding Ponies, Welsh Mountain and Welsh Cob, Dilutes, Cleveland Bays, Morgans, Buckskins, Thoroughbreds, Andalusians, Friesian Warmbloods and Connemaras to name but a few. The popular SA Equine Forum will also be represented along with an Encourage Ring for inspiring young show riders, along with the ever popular Tiny Tots and fancy dress events.

We woud like to invite you and your association to participate in the Friday segment of the Crown. Starting with a grand parade. A team of riders representing their clubs will parade around the Grand Arena prior to starting their events. Friday's events will consist of Novelties, ShowJumping (PC Grades), PC Dressage, Vaulting, and various demonstrations from various Associations. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your club and/or Association and we would love to have you.

We are looking for interested clubs who may be willing to assist in the running of these events to help promote the Equestrian industry in South Australia, but way of equipment hire, stewards, pencillers, judges, and all those necessary to run the various events. Cost per association is $100, which covers the cost of ring hire on the day. All awards on the day are provided by the Standardbred Sport Horse Association. The events schedule we aim to have out late January, so whilst I apologise for the late notice, I would require your confirmation of participation and relevant details of what you require by early January.

Endurance and Trail riding clubs are invited to represent their clubs within the Grand Parade and within their $100 will also be available to hold trade stalls to help promote their clubs thoughout the duration of the event, as will competing clubs. So indeed, no one misses out.

Stabling is available each day/night for 500 horses on site, along with on site parking.

Not only has this event had appeal from the Show Horse community, but also to racing affiliations as to the title of the event, which was taken from one of the world's most prestigious Harness Racing events.

To entertain our guests of an evening, the SA Pony Trotters Association will be ending their season with the feature "Races" of the event both Friday and Saturday nights. We have music entertainment both these nights at the completion of the Equestrian events.

With attractions also for the general public from demonstrations through to trade stalls, it is an epic celebration of the Equestrian industry in South Australia. Having been compared to the Equitana events held in Brisbane and Melbourne.

With Fashion Parades, Pony Trot races, nightly entertainment and more, their is something for everyone.

Trade marquees are available priced from $500 for the duration of the event. For sponsors of the event, just advise you wish to have a Marquee and the Event Convenor will be in contact with you. Sponsorship packs are available by contacting ssha@live.com.au

Ticket sales will be available to the general public before and on the days of the event.

Held at South Australia's Premier Equestrian facility, Wayville Show Grounds, the SSHA Breeders Crown is easily accessible by public transport as well as vehicle access.

Advertising in the planning stages is television, radio, and magazine - being a full page spread Horse Deals Australia. Which on its own has a target of over 41,000 in copies in Australia, New Zealand and Subscribers world wide ~ affectionately known in the Equestrian industry as THE BIBLE OF THE EQUINE.

IF you want in, and would like to maximize the publicity opportunities, then don't hesitate to contact myself on 0405 005 228 or via 08 8284 7897.

If you do not wish to sponsor the event, but would like to be involved by holding Trade Stall or Marquee, please direct your enquiries directly to the Convenor Nic Dirubbo at ssha@live.com.au or via phone on (08) 8389 9279 or 041 9396937

Thanks Everyone
~ SSHA Team
