Trainee Farrier

I will be travelling to Burra on the 14th October if anyone is interested in a giving a trainee farrier a go in that area.

I've had a couple of horses at stockport added to the list if there are others in Stockport who need their horses feet looked at.

Gracie and the pony are coming home in the next week, so eventually will get you to do their feet at my place just out of Saddleworth/Marrabel.

So if you do a Clare or Burra I can be on the way there or the way back.
I do shift work, so will need to know 6 weeks in advance to ensure I have the day off.

I have Ivydanes girlie who needs her feet trimmed - but she is a baby - and this weather not conducive to calm methinks!!!
Nice to know he comes out here though - I know of a few people now who are looking for farriers. I use Keith Arthur for my horses - but he has already told me he doesn't want to do any more newbies. Keith must be nearly 80 so he is entitled to be a bit grouchy.

Hey Mungral - lovely to meet you today
and thank you for being oh soo patient with Carlee. wind always turns up when its not wanted - and Carlee is sure there are monsters in the can crop.

It was a good positive experience for Carlee and that just want ivydane and I want for our little baby-

Of course - while my back was turned my daughter stole my ride - hmphf

oh well - always tomorrow.

Sorry you lost your ride, I hope you didn't cook her dinner for the little thief as punishment.

ba ha ha - actually i was super organised today and had a whole pot of spag bog on the stove - and I am sure i don't know where she puts it - she had a huge serve with lashings of Mozarella on top - she had certainly worked up an appetite.

I will make up for it tomorrow - she can do all the yards and feed - and i will ride!!!

Mungral are you doing shoeing yet or just trims?

I'll be in the Burra and Clare are on the 25th of November again, if anyone else is interested in giving me a go.

Trims $30 per horse
Shoes, $50 (plus shoes) for 1/2 Shoeing
And $60 (plus shoes) for Full Shoeing
