Wow! I've only just seen this thread (slow, I know!) Kayty you have such talent! I'm very impressed. When I'm more financial I'd love a portrait of my dog.

A quick one of my boy Hugo, just whipped this off watching telly tonight. Absolutely LOVE this new surface, velour. The Mi-Tientes made it near impossible for me to just sit and lay strokes of pastel down and see what it turned into, where as the velour lets the pigment flow so smoothly, it is such a joy to work on.

This one is a 16x12", which is my most popular size for the pastel head studies

I notice you have done a cat once.. how much begging and bribing would it take for you to do another? Razz I am thinking of a Christmas pressie, so no hurry. Just curious.

I'd do another one Bianca, no problems Smile Just that the dogs and horses seem to be more commonly commissioned than cats.

Okay, awesome! Smile

I no nothing about art or different types of art, so when I am awake sometime soon I will get you to explain a few things for me. But I do think a head portrait of mum's favourite cat would be a lovely christmas pressie for her. How soon before Christmas should I order?

No worries girl, you know how to find me Wink
The sooner the better as I'm starting to get busier now heading towards xmas, so to guarantee a place you'll need to order at least 2 months in advance, but 4 to be really safe

Testimonial: "
A very special thank you to Kaytlyn for the tremendous drawings you did of R-2 and Danca. They look so realistic and are exact images of them both. It will be something I will treasure forever. Thanks for much for all the effort and time you spend on it. Much appreciated"
